ARTIST STATEMENT
"I love with passion the adventure of capturing and ordering my feelings, ideas and sensations and transferring them onto a canvas. The totality of my work is like a portrait of my life, a mirror reflecting the development of my ideas. Painting is not unlike poetry, except that instead of words we use images as symbols for the intimate thoughts that flower, mostly unconsciously, during the artistic process. My work has been a constant search for a medium and a personal style with which to communicate my own perceptions and experiences."COQUI CALDERON
