Probing THE EARTH: Contemporary Land Art Projects BOOK was published in 1977 by the HIRSHHORN MUSEUM and SCULPTURE GARDEN in conjunction with the traveling Exhibition at:
Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden from October 27, 1977 to January 2, 1978
La Jolla Museum of Contemporary Art from January 27 - February 26, 1978 and at
Seattle Art Museum from March 23 - May 21, 1978
Curator John Bearsley provided extensive descriptions and documentation of each of the work, as well as a guide for visitors to the Exhibitions.
