"Planetarium" offers live music, conceptual videos and a 16ft.orb.

This multimedia production was created by classical composer Nico Muhly, singer-song writer Sufjan Stevens and the National guitarist Bryce Dessner and are backed by an all-star string quartet, a choir of seven trombones, and drummer James McAlister. Hovering above will be a 16-foot black orb wrapped in reflective fabric onto which conceptual videos will be projected for each planet in the song cycle, simulating a holographic effect
Its first performance was at the Sydney Opera House in May 2012 and its American premiere is set to open in the Spring 2013 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
