PRELUDE

ECOARTPEDIA ("Sowing the seeds of Ecological Art") 2012-2013 Exhibition explores and records the flowering of new sonic seeds with its 2012-2013 Show dedicated to "SOUND ART: Ecological Art and the Sound Matrix".

In 2012 FIFTH SEASON MAGAZINE started Special Editions dedicated to Ecological Art and the Sound Matrix/2012 and this year ECOARTPEDIA 2012-2013 Exhibition continues the exploration of the acoustical world as part of the matrix of ecological art.

Artists are now starting to combine unprecedented sounds captured through the new frontiers of technology. Some of them for example are transcribing recordings from NASA's Voyager trips through space with the Voyager as a musical instrument. Ecological Art reflects on these experimental sense and intellectual perceptions and invites its audience to visit and share latest developments in this sonic boom.
